Trueman's UGC NET National Eligibility Test/SET State Eligibility Test History is a preparatory text, which will aid students who are interested in pursuing a career in lectureship or Junior Research Fellowship. Summary Of The Book The University Grants Commision conducts annual testing procedures termed the National Eligibility Test and State Eligibility Test. These tests are carried out in order to ensure that the candidates meet certain requirements before becoming eligible for the teaching or research profession. Trueman's UGC NET National Eligibility Test/SET State Eligibility Test History details the topics that the students will be tested on in History. The book contains model test papers and guidelines for Paper one. Objective type questions and model test papers are provided for Paper Two. Sample test questions and model test papers are also given for Paper Three. The author has also included previous years’ question papers to give students a concrete example of what they can expect in the actual test. In total, the text contains twenty five chapters. It begins with the syllabus for both papers along with the guidelines.
